Una casa en Lo Curro, Chile/ A house in Lo Curro, Chile.

La casa Boher fue diseñada por el estudio de arquitectos Schmidt Arquitectos Asociados,ubicada en una ladera del Cerro Lo Curro,  en Vitacura, Chile. La casa se encuentra dentro de un bosque de eucaliptos y  junto al paso de un regadío el cual fue incorporado a la construcción a través de una serie de fuentes las cuales llegan hasta la pileta.

The Boher house was designed by the architectural firm Schmidt Associates Architects, located on a hillside of Lo Curro hill in Vitacura, Chile. The house is located within a forest of eucalyptus and within the passage of an  irrigation cannal which was incorporated into the building through a series of fountains which lead into the pool.

Después de navidad / After Christmas

Espero todos hayan pasado una hermosa navidad, por acá las cosas han estado un poco caóticas y el espíritu navideño a quedado relegado en un segundo plano debido a un cambio laboral ... cambiar de trabajo 2 semanas antes de navidad puede ser bastante estresante (Para ser honestos el arbolito lo arme 1 día antes de nochebuena). ¡Ahora a esperar con ansias el nuevo año que esta a la vuelta de la esquina!.

I hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas, around here things have been a little chaotic and the Christmas spirit was relegated in a second place due to a job change ... changing jobs 2 weeks before Christmas can be very stressful (To be honest I assemble the tree 1 day before christmas eve). Now looking forward to the New Year that is just around the corner!.

Un departamento que no es cualquier departamento, este departamento pertenece a la diseñadora Genevieve Labbe quien trabaja junto con un equipo de 37 personas en la creación de los catálogos y brochures de IKEA. 
An apartment that is not any apartment, this apartment belongs to Genevieve Labbe designer who works with a team of 37 people in the creation of catalogs and brochures for IKEA.

La cama es el modelo Flöro de IKEA, ya no está disponible, pero si alguno de ustedes tiene este modelo, puede obtener una nueva funda en bemz ( vale la pena echar un vistazo) y la manta se llama "Mega Dot Överkast Enkel" (que se encuentra aquí la maison dannag)

Fría primavera, cálidas alfombras / Cold spring, warm rugs

  "Garden Party" Catherine Martin  Art Deco collection.

Este post fue inspirado por las bajas temperaturas a las que nos estamos enfrentando en una muy, muy tímida primavera,  de hecho, los abrigos y las bufandas van a seguir en uso, de acuerdo con el pronostico del tiempo por al menos otra semana. Así que, mientras esperamos por los días más cálidos, me gustaría mostrarles imágenes del trabajo que la Australiana Catherine Martin creo junto con Designer Rugs en el 2012. Catherine también diseño las alfombras Art Deco que su marido, el cineasta Baz Lurhmann utilizo en la película "El Gran Gatsby" estrenada en mayo de este año.

This post was inspired by the low temperatures we are facing in a very shy spring, in fact the coats and scarves are still in use and according to the forecast it will remain the same for at least another week. So, while we wait for the warmer days, I will like to bring you pictures of the work that Australian  Catherine Martin had created together with Designer Rugs back in 2012.  Catherine also created the Art Deco rugs for her husband's movie, Baz Luhrmann "The Great Gatsby" released on May of this year.
